Tonight marked the first part of the summer finale of Pretty Little Liars, and the girls finally came face to face with Charles. The featured song was from MS MR, a Brooklyn-based duo of singer Lizzy Plapinger and Stanley Hershenow. “How Does It Feel” is the title track off of their sophomore album, and is an indie-pop anthem that shouts ♫ How does it feel with my teeth in your heart ♫. The group formed after Lizzy and Stanley graduated from Vassar College in 2010, and released their first EP, “Ghost City USA,” the following year. Two strong singles emerged from their debut album, “Secondhand Rapture,” and since then they’ve played a slew of shows and festivals, completed their second album and are now on tour to support “How Does It Feel.” And if you’re wondering how to pronounce their name, it’s “Miss Mister” (we were confused at first, too).
